Reporting In On The Holiday July 05, 2007
Thanks go out to Jeffrey "Chunk" Wilky for letting the Lobster family enjoy the fourth of July at his lovely beach-front condominium. The tubesteak was delicious and the waves were excellent. One interesting note: apparently it's no longer enough to bring a blanket and maybe an umbrella to the beach. It seems that now it's the norm to bring metal-framed canopies (the kind you see bands selling merch from at Warped Tour) and entire dinner tables with wooden chairs and place settings. We hope that your Independence Day was as fun and informative as ours.

Happy Fourth Of July July 04, 2007
I climbed in my car this morning and my stereo did me the favor of reminding me that today is Independence Day, or "The Fourth Of July," as some call it. The pixelated eagle soaring across my dashboard and American flag waving proudly got me a bit choked up as I quietly gave thanks for our freedom and those who worked so hard to secure it for us. Here's to a safe and relaxing holiday. Go easy on the lighter flid.
